The Spiritman Update can be read like a devotional. It follows the comics panel by panel mixed with commentary from the creators and a dose of scripture.

Spiritman Daily Dose 309

Martin has been saying things that are true and reasonable arguments. The problem Chelsea has is that she doesn't live in arguments, she lives in her experiences.
"Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus, who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, yes, the death of the cross."

Spiritman Daily Dose 310

That's the challenge of fighting 3 opponents at once. You just get the upper hand and another one "WHUMPs" you from the side.
"I returned and saw under the sun that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all. For man also doesn’t know his time. As the fish that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare, even so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falls suddenly on them."
Ecclesiastes 9:11-12 WMB
Spiritman Daily Dose 311

How does Martin get himself into these situations? Just yesterday he was feeling useless and invisible. Now he seems to be at the center of an incredible drama.
"About Jessus... "For by him all things were created in the heavens and on the earth, visible things and invisible things, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things have been created through him and for him."
Colossians 1:16 WMB
