The Spiritman Update can be read like a devotional. It follows the comics panel by panel mixed with commentary from the creators and a dose of scripture.

The scene changes. We join Martin in mid thought. It is a handoff from the previous panel in which Everett finishes with the same thought... "But what?"
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered, “You are the Messiah.”

Spiritman Daily Dose 205

Long day... issue 1 began with a dream and then Martin snapping awake. Now we are in the middle of issue 2 and Martin is just getting back to bed. Still, he has questions and Spiritman said he would find out more tonight.
"For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ship, and they didn’t know until the flood came, and took them all away, so will the coming of the Son of Man be."
Matthew 24:38-39 WMB

Martin is definitely a rule follower. He hasn't even removed the tags from his pillows. Actually, I think I still have tags on my pillows. Do other people remove them?
"It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter."
Proverbs 25:2 WMB

No words or thoughts. Martin is asleep. I wonder how many panels we could do of Martin sleeping. I read a comic once that had several pages of all black panels because the character had fallen down some stairs and was laying on the floor in darkness. Not sure that it worked very well as a story. We will find out tomorrow if Martin arises to entertain us.
"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, the LORD alone, make me live in safety."
Psalm 4:8 WMB

Ok, still no words... but at least Martin is awake. Actually the point is to compare yesterdays panel with todays panel. The change between the two is where the story is told.
"Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."
Isaiah 43:19 WMB

Hello! My name is Amanda. I am a teenager, an aspiring Christian author, and a hopeless superhero addict. I just wanted to thank you two for writing those books. Their message came to me at a time when I needed it. They gave me hope. Keep writing and never give up.
