The Spiritman Update can be read like a devotional. It follows the comics panel by panel mixed with commentary from the creators and a dose of scripture.

Spiritman Daily Dose 214

So we learn more about what Spiritman is fighting against... monsters/demons with swords. Who hasn't had dreams like this?
"who performed signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even to this day, both in Israel and among other men; and made yourself a name, as it is today;"
Jeremiah 32:20 WMB
Spiritman Daily Dose 215

That's a big question. Why does God need me at all, spiritually or physically? I don't know. God probably doesn't need me. The mystery is that he seems to want me. That is humbling.
"to whom God was pleased to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Messiah in you, the hope of glory."
Colossians 1:27 WMB
Spiritman Daily Dose 216

Why... what? The demons transformed into people and they are terrified. Martin feels like he should find out why. Maybe they're afraid of Spiritman.
"I will set up shepherds over them, who will feed them. They will no longer be afraid or dismayed, neither will any be lacking,” says the LORD.
Jeremiah 23:4 WMB
Spiritman Daily Dose 217

If you read issue 1 then you may recognize the character that bumps into Martin. His identity will also be revealed in the next daily dose posting. Weird that there are also people walking around on this building ledge with Martin and Spiritman. Remember... it's a dream.
"For even when we had come into Macedonia, our flesh had no relief, but we were afflicted on every side. Fightings were outside. Fear was inside."
2 Corinthians 7:5 WMB

Hello! My name is Amanda. I am a teenager, an aspiring Christian author, and a hopeless superhero addict. I just wanted to thank you two for writing those books. Their message came to me at a time when I needed it. They gave me hope. Keep writing and never give up.
