The Spiritman Update can be read like a devotional. It follows the comics panel by panel mixed with commentary from the creators and a dose of scripture.

Spiritman Daily Dose 52

My goal here was to put the car in the viewers lap. Personally, I really like the expression on the driver's face.
"It will happen in that day that a great panic from the LORD will be among them; and they will each seize the hand of his neighbor, and his hand will rise up against the hand of his neighbor."
Zechariah 14:13 WMB
Spiritman Daily Dose 53

That's a lot of Screeching. I used camera angles in this series of panels to move the viewer directly in front of the car, and hopefully across the street to safety, along with the characters.
"But the children of Israel walked on dry land in the middle of the sea, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left."
Exodus 14:29 WMB
Spiritman Daily Dose 54

What just happened? Martin was dreaming before, when Spiritman showed up. But that was a dream... maybe. But now it is clearly not a dream. Is this God at work? Does God work this way?
"Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father. John 14:12 WMB
I don't know if God will work in my life the way it happens in the Spiritman comic. I don't place limitations on God either.
Behind the scenes: Another great example of how Scott accelerates the action at a quick pace and then calms things down again just as quickly.

Hello! My name is Amanda. I am a teenager, an aspiring Christian author, and a hopeless superhero addict. I just wanted to thank you two for writing those books. Their message came to me at a time when I needed it. They gave me hope. Keep writing and never give up.
