So the villain from Martin's dream... his name is Scott. He was stabbed by Spiritman's sword but apparently did not die. He was simply out of the fight.
So, where does Spiritman's sword come from? In Ephesians christians are instructed to put on the whole armor of God. It is a metaphor. The Sword is a part of that armor...

"If the spirit of the ruler rises up against you, don’t leave your place; for gentleness lays great offenses to rest."
Ecclesiastes 10:4 WMB

We learn a little more about the villains. We also learn that the villains understand Spiritman a little better than Martin does right now.

"There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, the sort of error which proceeds from the ruler."
Ecclesiastes 10:5 WMB

Who is the Prophetess? The villains seem to be part of a larger network. All we know is that the Prophetess warned the boss about the emergence of Spiritman.

"He who digs a pit may fall into it; and whoever breaks through a wall may be bitten by a snake."
Ecclesiastes 10:8 WMB

"What's so special about this chick?" The villains are talking about Chelsea. She is special because God wants her in his family. The enemy wants to rip her away from God's family in order to hurt God. Do the villains understand this... maybe yes, maybe no.

"The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious; but a fool is swallowed by his own lips. The beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness; and the end of his talk is mischievous madness."
Ecclesiastes 10:12-13 WMB

The villains plan to go after Chelsea. 2 teams. Scott and Everett to distract Spiritman. Carlos and Rita to capture the girl. What do they want with her?
It has been an inside joke that the first 2 thugs who were mean to Chelsea share names with the writer and artist. Sometimes it's fun to play the villain.

"If the snake bites before it is charmed, then is there no profit for the charmer’s tongue."
Ecclesiastes 10:11 WMB
