So, if a villain says that Martin is up to no good, does it mean that Martin is actually up to a lot of good? Anyway, Martin really needs to work on his tailing skills if he is going to get into the superhero game.

"For you are not a God who has pleasure in wickedness. Evil can’t live with you. The arrogant will not stand in your sight. You hate all workers of iniquity."
Psalm 5: 4-5 WMB

Meet Carlos. He was the villain in the car with Frieda. Frieda is answering from the car. Looking at the panel now I am thinking there should be a door closing sound effect. "CLACK" I think I will add one later when I am doing the coloring. For now, you will have to use your imagination.

"LORD, my God, I take refuge in you. Save me from all those who pursue me, and deliver me, lest they tear apart my soul like a lion, ripping it in pieces, while there is no one to deliver."
Psalm 7: 1-2 WMB

Chelsea seams to be as in the dark as we are about her story. We don't really know why those thugs were after her and neither does she. Chelsea wants answers but doesn't find any. When I feel confused like Chelsea I find comfort in the Psalms. Not always due to words of inspiration. The Psalms also offer words that identify with the depths of suffering.

"We see no miraculous signs. There is no longer any prophet, neither is there among us anyone who knows how long."
Psalm 74:9 WEB

The rule for dealing with vampires is always look up. However, when dealing with your average street thug... look behind you. Chelsea was probably thinking that she was just being followed by Martin. There's a lot of people following Chelsea. Makes me wonder who else might be following her.

"Surely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the LORD’s house forever."
Psalm 23:6 WMB

Meanwhile, Martin works on his tailing skills... This panel and the next 3 panels are small drawings that are inside of the previous panel. Since they are small there is less detail. I kind of like how they turned out graphically.
Chelsea is in the empty apartment. Scott and Everett are lurking in the hall behind Chelsea. Martin is coming up the stairs. What we don't know in this sequence is the location of the guy who was following Martin. Martin, look behind you.

"But my enemies are vigorous and many. Those who hate me without reason are numerous."
Psalm 38: 19 WMB

Martin finds Chelsea... doesn't sound good. In case you don't remember the main villain, whom we call "Shadowy Figure," instructed Scott and Everett to bring Chelsea to him. What does Shadowy Figure want with Chelsea? We don't know. But now Martin has 4 villains here at the apartment trying to abduct Chelsea. It gets confusing.

"To you, LORD, I lift up my soul. My God, I have trusted in you. Don’t let me be shamed. Don’t let my enemies triumph over me."
Psalm 25: 1-2 WMB

Well... it doesn't seem like Martin is dreaming this time. What is he going to do now? A choice that will affect every bit of his life from this moment forward.

"If it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose today whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."
Joshua 24:15 WMB

Uh oh... uh oh. Somebody is not going to be happy. We will have to wait and see if Martin gets the opportunity to work on his tailing skills. He's got bigger problems now. Martin has jumped into the fire.

"...each man’s work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man’s work is."
1 Corinthians 3:13 WMB
