The Spiritman Update can be read like a devotional. It follows the comics panel by panel mixed with commentary from the creators and a dose of scripture.

We met a person at a convention who commented that they use to own a car like the one in this picture. I am often surprised by what people notice in the story. The type of car was not very important to us but I am glad that I used a reference.
"When you have departed from me today, then you will find two men by Rachel’s tomb, on the border of Benjamin at Zelzah. They will tell you, ‘The donkeys which you went to look for have been found; and behold, your father has stopped caring about the donkeys and is anxious for you, saying, “What shall I do for my son?"

The scene here is inside the car that was approaching in the previous panel. Might be hard to decipher if you didn't see yesterday's post.
" Behold, my breast is as wine which has no vent;
like new wineskins it is ready to burst."

"When all Israel saw that the king didn’t listen to them, the people answered the king, saying, “What portion have we in David? We don’t have an inheritance in the son of Jesse. To your tents, Israel! Now see to your own house, David.” So Israel departed to their tents.”
"The men who traveled with him stood speechless, hearing the sound, but seeing no one. "

Hello! My name is Amanda. I am a teenager, an aspiring Christian author, and a hopeless superhero addict. I just wanted to thank you two for writing those books. Their message came to me at a time when I needed it. They gave me hope. Keep writing and never give up.
